Chunkster Challenge 2009

Quite sometime ago, I joined the Chunkster Challenge. Remember this?
I did read Drood by Dan Simmons. (click here for blog tour and review) and yes that was quite a chunky book. However I did not read the other two books. I may have to add Annette Vallon to the From My Shelves book Challenge for 2010. I didn't finish this challenge but I had fun and thoroughly enjoyed the big ole chunker that I did read.

Oh well, at least you gave it a shot, which was more than I did.

I'd say even one chunkster is an accomplishment!!! Usually I see them and back away! :--)

At least you had fun, right? That's a good thing!

2010 is right around the corner so you can give it another shot.

Have a great week, Toni and happy reading.

Well I am glad that I am not the only one that didn't finish this challenge! At least we read one book right? We just may need to try this one again next year.

At least you tried. That's more than I can say!

Drood is a pretty big accomplishment Toni! You saw how I did on some of my challenges. The fun is in joining and hoping you finish.

As long as you had fun, that's all that matters. :-) I'm looking forward to reading Drood one of these days. It's on my wishlist at the moment.

I managed to read three books for the challenge, which is more or less what I was aiming for. I didn't quite read the books I originally intended though.
