To The Beach...

Hip Hip Hooray.. I am off work for a few days and will be going to Bodega Bay for the Fourth of July. I will be spending Saturday and Sunday on the beach. I am so excited. Of course Dexter is going along to walk the beach with me!

I can't wait to sit and read by the beach. This will kind of be "it" for my summer vacation. I hope to get a mini trip with Hubby to San Francisco/Napa around September/October. But as it stands this is my little vacation. Hey we take what we can get right?

On the flip side the next two days I am home to blog, knit and catch up on things.

I am about to blast into blog land and rain comments forth to all!! Hey, If I haven't commented on your blog or visited, Please comment here with a link and I will drop by in the next few days.

Have a great time. Nothing like a couple of days to relax by the water and read. I'm jealous!

have fun at the beach, we went last weekend, omg the crowds were overwhleming, go early or the lot is full and its a bigger hike then you like with a full picnic basket and books~ we headed over to the headlands and enjoyed the quietness of the marina...

Missy.. I am jealous.. you must be so refreshed.

Thank you Rhapsoday.. the weather is very promising, a break from the hot hot temps of No. Cali.

Lynne... I hope you get a break soon. I am eager. My trip is with family and dog.. it won't be super relaxing. I will have to just choose some relaxing times.

Thank you Kaye. This is Dex's first over nighter... yikes..

Thank you Kathy. I love to read by the beach too.

Jo-Jo.. I think heaven sums it up quite nicely.

Thank you Teddy.

Diane.. I am so there with you. I just don't get to do it enough.

Jess - Thank you. Happy Fourth to you too.

Blue Moon - Usually Bodega isn't too crowded... fingers crossed that it will be okay this weekend... either way I am prepared for some fun!

Hope you have a great time at the beach! I grew up on the Oregon coast but never read on the beach because it was always too cold and windy.

I hope Dexter has a good time too!

I love that picture...you really get the feel of the beach! Have a great time Toni, I'm nowhere near a beach and am very jealous! It looks like you are all set with goodies..I am about to start Castaways and will think of you reading it on the beach! Here's wishing for sunny and warm weather!

Alyce.. I love the Oregon coast.. but yes... a bit windy for sure.

Thank you Jenn...

Bonnie.. I will be thinking of you while reading Castaways. Going to try to get right into it so that I am "in the middle" of a good book while at the beach.....

I am getting excited..

I hope that the beach trip is relaxing. I could use some beach time myself. That bag is so festive and those books look like good selections for sun and sand.
