Harry Potter anyone?

Harry Potter anyone?

So is anyone else pretty excited for the movie this week? I am excited to say the least. I think I am going on Thursday after work. Yep ... big fan here. This was me Halloween 2007. I made my official Hogswart Scarf to wear to the last movie (Order of the Phoenix) as well as the midnight party at Borders for the release of Deathly Hallows.

I sort of can't believe am posting this picture of myself. I did win the costume contest at work that October. Mostly because I think I surprised everyone! (Harry Potter Scarf Pattern)

I just wanted to post and talk about Harry Potter with anyone that cares to chat. Shoot I just cracked open Breaking Dawn (The final Twilight Book) and I can NOT put it down. Otherwise, I wish I had pulled The Half Blood Prince to read before the movie. Who knows.. there might still be time.

Below is my Harry Potter Book Scarf. I love it! For those that knit, click on the link. If you don't knit, click anyway, there is a gallery of completed projects (book markers) to peruse.

Feel free to comment with all your Harry Potter Comments. I'd love to chit chat about it.

Cute photo, I am a harry potter fan also. I have read most of the books and have seen all the movies, I will wait though for Harry potter to come out on dvd or pay per view to watch it. I loved the book breaking dawn, you will be surprised at the ending, which I thought was great! I really miss reading about bella and edward, and hope she writes more books on them.

I am a huge Harry fan but I never finished the series! I stalled at book #4. I was halfway thru it and then had my daughter. She was so high needs that I never did pick it up again.

I promise I will.

I am excited about the movie but I refuse to see it until I finish the series.

I love your costume and that scarf is FAB. And the book scarf?? How cute is that?? What a great idea.

I love your costume and scarf!! I'm excited about the moving coming out, too, but I won't be seeing it for another couple weeks or so... Waiting for my parents to get back in town so we can all go see it together--it's tradition now!

I got my parents hooked on the books just before the movies started coming out. Now we all re-read the books before the movies, too!

Yay, Harry Potter!!

Awwww you are so adorable!

I am also trying to re-read the book before the movie on Tuesday, but since I am only on page 129 and I still have to make shirts I don't know if it will happen lol. :)

I love the photos! We're all geared up for the new release, but not sure when we're going to get to go. A lot depends on the availability of babysitters. :) We won't be dressing up though, we save that for Star Trek movies.

I hope you have a great time at the movie!

Love the photos! That's a great costume and I love the scarf! Harry Potter is the best and my friend just invited me to a midnight movie on Tuesday. I read all of the books as soon as they came out but I never saw a movie in the theater. I waited for the video. I think I'll take this invitation though. She's decided that we're taking our kids' graduation gowns (black of course) and we will be wearing them that night! Yes, we are all in our 40s but you're never too old for Harry! (although I wouldn't be doing this without her!) I won't have time to reread the whole book before the movie but I'll be skimming it and getting to all of the important parts.

I read the Twilight series too and while I didn't like it nearly as much as Harry, the writing hooks you right away. Hang on during this last book because a lot happens.

Yay!! I can't wait either! We'll be visiting the fam, so free baby-sitters! I can't wait..really and truly love Harry Potter. Don't think I'll dress up, as that would entail packing my "costume."

Anyway, I can't wait to chat with you about the movie!!

I just love these pics. Still jealous of that awesome scarf. I don't know if I'll be seeing the movie in the theater or not but I'm looking forward to it nonetheless. This has been making me want to reread at least the last 2 books in the series.

I've never read the books or watched the movies, but my sister is trying to talk me into reading the first book for my blog in honor of the Harry Potter Weekend she has planned with her friends.

I've seen the first one but that's all. One of these days I'll get out to see the new one. I'll wait for the crowds to die down (figuratively speaking).
