Hosted by Marcia at the
Printed Page.I had a good week.
I received:
Cemetery Dance on Audio. My review copy from Anna at Hachette book Group.
I received:
The Castaways, by From Miriam at Hachette book Group.
I received:
Scottsboro, by Ellen Feldman from Library Thing Earlier Reviewers
and I received:
Star Gazing by Linda Gillard from the author. (It is fun to get Royal Mail from the UK.. I know I know it doesn't take much to excite me). Thank you Linda!
I have to say... I am pleased as punch with my haul.
I also got my signature name plates from author Kate Jacobs to put into my Friday Night Knitting Club and Knit Two books. ( I will try to post pics next week). I am pretty jazzed about that. Thank you so much Kate. It makes the whole experience of reading, having the chat with her and now having autographed books a real treasured experience. To see my review of Knit Two.

Ooh, I'm a bit jealous that you got Star Gazing from the author! How did you manage that? I read a fantastic review of this book on someone's blog and am dying to get my hands on this one. Enjoy all your books!
You should be pleased as punch - that's a nice haul.
Castaways is looking interesting :D
have fun reading
Wow -- great haul. Stargazing has such a cool cover.
The Castaways sounds so good. I have that one, too. Hope you enjoy your new books!

I just came across your blog, and wanted to let you know I think it is great! Thanks (all these books look great)
Pleased as punch. I just love that saying :) Nice haul.
wow, you had a great week...and name plates too!
Nice pile of books Toni. I love the cover on Star Gazing-very nice. I got my stuff from Kate Jacobs the other day too. Enjoy all your goodies.
I am very jealous of your bookplates from Kate Jacobs. Friday Night Knit Club was my favorite book of last year. I see that you have Star Gazing. I have it on order. Jill at Rhapsody in Books reviewed her book last week and then the author did a guest post on her blog this week that was just plain excellent. If you haven't already read it, I would suggest checking it out. It will enhance the reading of the book.
Watch out for SCOTTSBORO - it's utterly compelling! I received it through LTER as well. I'll have to look up STAR GAZIING - the cover is beautiful! Enjoy your haul!
CASTAWAYS is very fun - full of gossip, potential scandal, and great descriptions of the characters and life on Nantucket. It's the first Elin Hilderbrand book I've read, but I'll be looking up her others for summer reading.
