Book Information

My most favourite beach is Rathtrevor Beach in Parksville, British Columbia!!
Its very shallow and the kids can go out for ages with no fear of deep water!
The best time to go swimming is after the sand has been warmed up by the sun when the tide is out and then when the tide comes back in, the sand heats up the water; omgosh I love it!
Sand dollars are everywhere, crab, clams etc.

This looks like a great beach read for the summer although I must confess my favorite beach is slightly out of the ordinary.
It completely lacks sand and is made completely of stone and granite up in the Canadian shield on Georgian Bay.

My favorite beach is the beach on Boracay Island, Philippines. It has fine white sand, dozens of small restaurants and shops, and local masseuses and fruit shakes all readily available. Live music at night and candles and lights everywhere, but somehow it doesn't feel crowded. Everyone seems so fit and young.

My favorite beach is in Jamaica. I went there on a Mission trip the year before I met and married my husband. This year we will be married 30 years so it was a long time ago.
I also like the beach at Gulf in Texas. My husband, I and youngest daughter would go there every 4 days. My husband worked 4 days on and 4 days off. We'd surf fish. I still have my rods but nowhere to use them. We loved catching sand shark and lived on them - sure was cheap food as we had a casting net and caught our own shrimp to fish with. Memories

This book sounds wonderful. The author's video clip was great. I really think my book club would enjoy it also. I just finished another women's fiction book by Linda Overman called Letters Between Us which I really enjoyed.
