Lit Flicks Challenge -
Okay... this my first challenge and I am
waaay behind. But...
that's okay.. NEVER GIVE UP.. NEVER SAY DIE!! :) It was very very cool a couple of weeks ago I had a rare quiet moment at home and I got to watch To Kill a Mocking Bird. This book is also on my shelf so I have put it by my bedside and read along and compare with the movie. Voila Lit Flicks Selection!
I absolutely LOVED this movie. I highly recommend this movie!! Gregory Peck does an outstanding job. I was captivated from the first scene. No spoilers from me on this one, just my 100% endorsement... watch it... watch it.... watch it..... so now I will read it ... read it.... read it and try to get my Lit Flicks wrapped up!!

Toni, congrats on finishing a Lit Flicks Selection. I'm behind too, and it's my challenge! Don't worry too much about finishing; just have fun.
Thanks Jessica... I really would like to finish To Kill A Mockingbird. I am having fun with the Challenge. Movies are really nice for those times when I am just too pooped to read. :)
You are so right - that is a fantastic movie - well worth re-watching from time to time.
The movie is great but the book is so much better. I read it at least 3 times a year
Bermudiaonion: I hope to find it on DVD. I will continue to re watch.
Carolyn: That is good to know.... I am going to snuggle up with it this weekend for my challenge. It is always exciting to get a book and curl up with it when you want to....just because you want to.
To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorite books of all time Toni. Once you start reading it you will be so caught up in the story.
Hey Dar.... I can't ask for a better recommendation that that. :) Maybe another one to pass on to your pop. :)
Never saw the movie but really enjoyed the book. Can't believe I waited so long to read it. You will enjoy it.
Jenny - I can't believe I haven't read it. I did see a clip of it in a college lit class years ago. Can't wait to read. Right now Drood is seriously getting my attention.
