Most of you out there have your fabulously designed blogs. I have been struggling with my own design. Well I am HTML illiterate. And thank you all for bearing with my blog as it had the "unwrapped sidebar" items recently. My sidebars and middle sort of ran into each other. I didn't know how to fix it.
I just wanted to post where I got the information to do a three column minima layout.
Three column layout.
and here is where I got to figure out how to wrap the side bars and shrink them down.
Just wanted to pass along the tips.
Happy Tuesday. We are off to get some screws in the hubby's ankle. Surgery should take about an hour.

I'm glad you figured it out and got it working.
I just had someone do mine. I gave up!
Toni - I'm not ready to take this on yet, but it's on my list of "things to do sometime in the future." Thanks for the info - I had no idea how to even begin! Your blog looks great, btw!
Glad to hear that you had success in making your blog into 3 columns! Thanks for sharing how you did it. I've got to figure something out for my blog. Hoping that all goes well for your hubby's surgery!!
I have been wanting to do this. I have tried several times and it does not work for me! I will check out your site to see if it is any different. If I still can't seem to do it, I may have to seek professional help. ;-)
Yay! I'm glad you got it to work! I too, was very frustrated with my blog design for some time! I thought I had one I loved, but now I've discovered that others have it, so eventually I will have to find a new one, or have one created special for me.
Keeping you and hubby in my thoughts..I pray for a speedy recovery!
Thanks for the link Toni - it's something I hope to get to someday!
Tni your blog looks great. I asked another blogger about the 3 column blog because I know nothing about html! SHe gave me great advice & info, even a template. I haven't made any changes yet. One of these days I'll give it a try.
Good luck! If you need help let me know & I'll put you in touch but you have probably talked with her.
Anyway, great job on the blog!
Amy
bravo to you for getting the blog appearance to where you want it. I have not changed my in months...a year? cuz I haven't a clue.
And seeing Dexter's picture in the right margin always makes me smile!
HTML is a scary thing, isn't it? When I went to 3 columns I held my breath to see if it was going to work right. Phew! What a relief when it did. Now if you can figure out how to add tabs at the top or make a table format, I'm all ears! For the life of me I cannot figure that out. Thanks for visiting today and commenting on my history post. BTW, I think every time we make pizza, I think of you.
Oh I like the changes very much!
Oh no about the hubby! My thoughts are with you both. And take those pain pills. No sense being in pain.
Great job! It looks so good! I switched mine last month too and used the same site for help. It worked great for me and wasn't as scary as I thought it would be.
So sorry that hubby broke his leg. My middle son broke his sliding into home base in Little League. He wasn't even safe and they lost the game too. Poor kid. I hope the surgery went well and he'll be feeling better soon. Best wishes!
Yay Toni! The blog looks fab--glad you got it to work... It took me forever to get mine just right, and I messed around a lot with the sizes and the margins. Now I can't change my background unless I find another that's wide like the one I have. HTML I can figure out, backgrounds are impossible! =)
