It is an older publication book that was finally released for reprint. I pre-ordered in February. I couldn't be more thrilled. I will post a review in a few days. Right now I am caught up in the history of the Fair Islands/ Shetland Island and how the Fair Isle type of knitting came to be. I find it fascinating. This is my third Alice Starmore book and I am not disappointed in the least.
Gosh I wish I could knit like that! That is beautiful! I received my win from your blog. Thanks again for hosting a great giveaway! Here is my Mailbox Monday post.
Reading non-fiction usually puts me to sleep. Your enthusiasm may have me checking out something by Alice Starmore. I don't knit, but I love learning about cultural things.

It looks like a fun knitting book! I crochet a little bit, but have always been intimidated by knitting for some reason. :)

Wow! I can't wait for your thoughts about this book! Sounds really interesting.
I'm surprised it was re-released. There used to be bidding wars for that book on eBay. Glad you got your hands on it! My mailbox post is here.

The book looks great! Have fun reading it!
Fair Isle knitting is so gorgeous. I'm not a knitter, and I admire and sort of envy those with that talent!
I hope you have pictures of your own knitted goodies to share soon!
